Great for sleep not for the dryer
Be careful drying this as the first one we had melted even on the lowest heat setting. But other than that we love this comforter. It’s soft and comfortable. It’s heavy but not 1000lbs. Definitely worth the money

Absolutely relentless fiber shedding.
I have never owned a comforter that sheds like this. Ever.This black Vera Wang comforter looks fine out of the package, but on the first use, it turned into a white fuzz magnet that requires nonstop maintenance. I am not talking about “black fabric shows lint.” I am talking about active, continuous fiber shedding from the comforter itself.I lint-roll this comforter every two days. Not just the top. Both sides. The amount of microfibers is significant enough that a single lint roller sheet is not enough. Every time.There is no tear, no seam failure, no leak. The fabric is intact. This is a material or manufacturing issue. The microfiber shell seems poorly finished and continuously releases fine white fibers with normal use.I’ve tried:Washing it alone on gentleCold waterMild detergentReduced heat dryingNone of this stopped the shedding.

I like it. It was received promptly, exactly as advertised. High quality. I bought it in black, and while it looks sharp, I had to get one of those 8 inch wide lint removers. Just an FYI.

Luxurious and more voluminous that I was expecting.
This is made with very good material, super comfy, very luxurious. I however am a busy mom with critters which means I wash my comforters frequently. This will not fit in a standard washer and is inconvenient to clean.

Stitching broke
I’ve had this comfortor for quite some time and my only complaint was that the stitching came apart within the first week on a 6 inch section of the edge but it was sewn back together with ease. I’d like my expensive blankets to arrive in working order. Other than that hickup its held together and been cofortable and warm for about a year and am satisfied otherwise.

Accurate product descrioption
Ok, here goes.Please bear on mind reviews are a matter of perspective. That said, each person looks and expects something different. When perusing reviews if the same theme repeats there is cause for concern, if not, look for things that are of interest to you (i.e. softness, color, durability, etc.) and make your judgement based solely on those things.I, too, like many others who usually do not post reviews, but had to do so with this product. I am EXTREMELY picky. I wanted the look and feel of hotel bedding. I have finally achieved it with this comforter. Right out of the package it was crisp white and lightweight enough to use year round.Also, after a few days on the bed the wrinkles decreased significantly.I have not washed it yet, but will probably have it dry cleaned.

I really like the pattern and quality of the comforter, however the shams are not as I expected. The shams don’t stand out and I think if they had an edge to make them standout from looking like a pillow, it would be better.

This cover was not gray as advertised. It was beige at best. Had to go through the hassle of a return. Although the return was easy it was still a pain to get a comforter that was not the colour it was advertised for

Was looking forward to using it but it came with a stain on it. Obviously it had been used and repackaged. Really disappointedAfter trying to wash it, it became crispy and really wrinkled.
