Wow! Get this one
I was doing my nails at home using a cheap E-file and it would literally stop when it touched my nail. Thats how weak it was. I got reccomended this one and wow this E-file is amazing, it was super simple to set up, barely turing it on made it powerful enough to file my nail and my press ons. Im not even sure what you would use the full speed for since it is so fast! Im sure mid range on the dial would take off acrylic with ease. It came with everything you need including bits and a ton of interchangeable sanding heads. It also looks very nice and feels well constructed. I have absolutely no complaints or issues with the actual file. The only bummer was thay the dry brush came broken but I didn’t really care about that as much. I would have purchased this without it. If anyone asked me for a budget E-file, this would be it!

Before I get into the details….I got this product a day early, which was awesome! Love fast shipping.Okay. The review:This thing will absolutely take off GelX nails. There’s another review or answered question and the person says it took her about an hour to take her GelX off. I agree with her time frame. It took me about an hour, too.This nail drill will take off ANYTHING. Part of the hour I spent filing off my nails was spent waiting on the wand to cool down. It gets HOT. You will not need to turn the dial all the way up to get the power you need. If you do, be warned that it will almost certainly take off your fingers!The drill was easy to take out of the box and set up. I received it, unpacked it, and was using it in about 5 minutes. It’s not any louder than a drill they use at the nail salon. It’s light enough that I didn’t have any problems switching hands and using it.It does get MESSY. That isn’t necessarily a problem with the wand or set up…..it’s just what happens when you file off layers of hard gel or acrylic. I used it near a sink and clean up was pretty easy.Overall, this is an amazing buy if you’re someone who only wears artificial nails occasionally and doesn’t want to pay salon prices to remove them. It’s time consuming though, so if you’re the person who gets their nails done regularly at the salon, just go there and have the tech remove your old nails.I can’t imagine what you would use this for if you weren’t removing or shaping artificial nails. It has some power and I definitely wouldn’t use it for normal nail polish or even shaping my real nails. But it’s awesome to have and I’m super glad I bought it! Now I can quit looking at my overgrown gel nails from Thanksgiving!

Great for beginners
Pros:This is a great starter drill, especially for beginners. It offers excellent speed control with a simple turn of a dial, and the forward/reverse function is easy to use with the push of a switch. It comes with standard drill bits that are suitable for completing a full manicure set. The built-in holder for the drill is convenient, and the device itself is lightweight and easy to handle.Cons:The drill tends to stall and stop if even moderate pressure is applied. I’ve used other nail drills and haven’t experienced this issue unless applying significant pressure. Additionally, the durability is disappointing—I purchased it in January 2025, and it stopped working by January 2026. It appears there may be a wiring issue in the cord, as the drill briefly turns on when the cord is adjusted, but quickly shuts off again.

Edit, I figured out how to fix the drill from stopping mid use. If you take out the bit and reinsert and press down as much as it can, it will start working as intended. Since then I have not had any issues with this and love this product.I bought this in late September and it’s now March. I’ve used this machine less than 10 times and suddenly after 1 nail, it stops. Just completely stopped working. I haven’t found a way to contact the seller for assistance. So it will stay a 1 star

Like the other reviews stated, the bits are not the best quality but get the job done and perfect for beginners. After some usage the machine will stop working for 1-2 seconds and then start back up with no issues. I’m happy with my at-home nails and even started doing my moms!
