Lightweight, Quiet, and Perfect for Beginners
I really like the form factor of this e-drill. I’m new to using drills, and my other one is about three times the size in circumference. This is much more conveniently sized and takes up less storage space. The ultra-light pen design makes it feel very natural to hold, which gives me a lot more control and precision when I am working on my nails. It is also surprisingly quiet and doesn’t have a lot of vibration, so the whole process feels very smooth and professional for a home setup. I didn’t notice any excess heat from prolonged use.That said, this does have 10,000 RPM less than the other one, but I don’t use the drill on the highest speed and in fact rarely venture above the lowest two. Even on those lower settings, it has plenty of stable torque for shaping and cuticle care. The five different speed levels are easy to click through on the LED display, and the push-in bit replacement is very straightforward. It is a great starter kit because it comes with several bits and sanding bands right in the box.I haven’t yet had to recharge this, but I’ve only used it once so far. That only used up about 10-15% of the battery, and charging the battery from 80% when I first got it took a little over an hour. The cordless freedom is a huge bonus since I don’t have to worry about a tangle of wires getting in my way while I’m trying to work. I got the purple color, and I love it. It is a really pretty shade and the aluminum housing feels high quality. This is definitely a great choice for anyone who wants a portable and easy-to-use tool for their manicure routine.

Works well overall
I’m overall impressed with this nail drill. The only issues I had was having to be careful not to press the buttons accidentally when swapping out the heads or holding it to plug it in, and the fact it comes with a relatively short (38 inch) USB-A-to-USB-C cord but – as with just about all electronics these days – no charging base. It’s just frustrating for everything these days to put it on the customer to purchase additional adapters or borrow a cord/adaptor from another item.I originally selected it for a couple of reasons. First I needed an easier way to sand the underside of press-on nails that did not not have any texture already in place, to help with adhesion. This makes it SO much easier to apply sanding than using a straight file or the corner of a sanding block. The second reason is when a nail does pop off, I suspected the quick application of a drill to the dried glue would be easier and faster than trying to soak off the glue – and I was correct.The drill charges quickly, the different tips are relatively easy to swap out (you need to be careful you don’t press the buttons while doing so though – ask me how I know!), and the sizing for the tips is standard – so if you purchase additional sanding bands that come with standard size heads those should fit (worked for me). I found the pen easy to hold and use, and was able to sand both the inside of press-on nails and my nailbed – both left and right hands – comfortably.For the price ($13.99 with coupon, $19.99 retail as of the posting of this review), this is a good value considering everything you get, although you’ll probably need more sanding bands pretty quickly.

Great Portable Nail Drill
I’ve always wanted to try an electric nail drill but never actually committed to buying one—so I was excited to give this a shot. After using it to prep my nails for press-ons, I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations.First off, the power is impressive for a rechargeable drill. It handled cuticle removal really well and felt strong without being overwhelming, which I think is especially important for beginners. Since this is my first e-file, I appreciated that it didn’t feel intimidating to use.I also love how compact and lightweight it is. The pen shape makes it easy to hold and control, and it’s small enough that I’d definitely take it with me for travel. The pink color is a nice bonus. It also didn’t take long to charge, and the drill itself is fairly quiet, which makes the experience more comfortable.It comes with sanding bands and bits, which is great for getting started right away. I’m not sure how long they’ll last yet, but I like that replacements seem easy to find, so it feels like a versatile tool I can keep using long-term.The only thing I wish it included is a carrying case. The box and plastic insert it comes with probably won’t hold up over time, especially if you plan to travel with it. That said, at this price point, I don’t necessarily expect one.Overall, I’m really happy with this nail drill. For anyone new to electric nail files, I think this is a great beginner-friendly option that still delivers solid performance. I’d definitely repurchase if needed.
