Hard bristles
I bought this because I was hoping for soft silicone bristles. It turns out tha tonly the half of the brush with the larger “bristles” is silicone, the other half is hard plastic. The larger/ silicone side is more like a scalp-washing brush, not intended to detangle hair. Because the smaller bristles are hard plastic, they do not flex, which means the brush gets stuck in my hair, rather than removing tangles. I didn’t care for the brush at all, but it might work for your needs.
