Beautiful, High-Quality Journal That Feels Special
I honestly wasn’t expecting to like this notebook as much as I do. The cover is even more beautiful in person—really detailed and feels sturdy, not cheap at all. The pages are smooth and nice to write on, and it just has that “special” feel when you open it. It also came packaged really nicely, so it would make a great gift. Definitely one of the nicer journals I’ve bought.

Really Nice Journal
This is a really nice journal. It looks striking and is of a pretty nice quality. It’s a nice, portable size, which makes it convenient to take with you. Paper is good and I do like the alternating colors between the white pages and the darker ones. However, there are two things I would say about this journal that I think should be pointed out.This journal is being marketed to women for women as a ‘goddess’ journal. But why? Because the image on the cover is feminine? They are more correct when, in the description, they say, “… evokes timeless fantasy and symbolism …” The image is fantasy. It is symbolic. And, as such, can be used for just about anything by anyone. In fact, we plan to use this fine journal in our Dungeons & Dragons campaign to log in events that occur. Why? Because, to us, the cover evokes fantasy and mystery.Secondly, despite how nice the journal looks and how nicely packaged it came, the journal we received is somewhat warped – bowed – instead of being nicely flat.I really like this journal and think it looks really nice. However, I personally think the asking price of $33 is way too much for a journal of this size (both physical size and number of pages).

This is a magnificent, bad***, and gorgeous journal. The pictures really don’t do the book justice, unfortunately. I have nothing bad to say about this journal. It’s packaged beautifully, and very fitting to the whole vibe and look of the journal. The journal is exquisitely made and clearly made with quality materials. The cover and entire outside of this journal is stunning. The design, the texture and feel of the book from the embossing to the weight, the little details on the spine and edges, all of the delicate little details add to the whole experience of the journal. And there are many lovely little details inside the book as well. The alternating sections of different colored pages, the first page having an “In case of loss,” and “Reward” addition, the “Date” pre marked but empty, the little embellishments on each page, the fact that there is a ribbon marker, all of these additional details add to the value and coolness of this journal. Even the cute little bookmark and the card thanking the consumer for choosing their product are little touches that go a long way in my book.I believe the journal is versatile. I know as many men as women who would covet this journal, including myself. It’s a great gift for any occasion, or no occasion at all. If I had the money right now, I would absolutely purchase more. I know six people, just offhand, that would love to receive this as a gift. I think this is a great price for such a beautifully made journal. . . I’ve certainly seen much poorer quality journals for this price or higher, which is gross and I would never purchase those, so the value for the cost is outstanding, in my opinion.Anyone who would give this journal anything under five stars should probably look inward.
