Dec. 15, 2025, initial review: I received the Éclat Vitamin C serum and cream one week ago. It’s been a great addition to my routine. I’m 59, my dad was a dermatologist. I’m big into skincare and only use products backed by science. I like the consistency of the serum. It’s like water, so it mixes great with The Ordinary Buffet with Copper Peptides and Growth Factor serums. Apply mixed in a bottle, your hand or one at a time. All formulas compatible to do either.Next, I add my Rx Retin-A 0.05% to the Vitamin C cream, so it’s easier to spread the Retin-A (tretinoin). This is so perfect. They are ideally compatible.So far, no burning, redness or peeling with the added Vitamin C products. Make sure you treat your face, neck, chest and hands exactly the same, so none of them give away your age!My goal for the added Vitamin C is to even out my skin tone. I have very minimal sun damage. I haven’t tanned since 10th grade. But, we can always improve our skin tone and texture.The cream is a velvety smooth gel-cream texture, which is fabulous. It’s unscented, also good. The serum dries quickly, absorbs easily, as does the cream. No greasiness or oiliness during the day or breakouts. I use It Cosmetics powder foundation and Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. Both are great and compatible with all the products mentioned, and all available on Amazon.I will update review with results after I finish the first bottle and jar, then again in 3 months and 6 months.Be mindful of sun exposure when using Vitamin C, Retin-A or anything that increases cell turnover, so you don’t get burned, accidentally. I prefer sunscreen with clear zinc, and/or mineral barriers, rather than chemical sunscreens.I think Éclat products are very well formulated and reasonably priced. Results TBD!

I think this might be my new go-to serum
So, I’m really bad about writing reviews because, who has time? But I thought this product was worth taking a minute for. I’ve only been using it a week or so, therefore I gave it 4 stars. I already notice a slight difference. I like it! I already have beautiful skin so it’s hard to tell if it’s making a difference… Just kidding. It seems to be evening out my skin tone, blemishes. So far so good. Price is great. I tried a $90 bottle of vit c serum and I would say this product compares to or may even be better than. Time will reveal.

BONUS: Calming and Healing for Recurrent Dermatitis that Prescriptions Don’t Help!
Reviewed by my wife:I have extremely dry sensitive skin. So many products have caused such burning/itching and rough, dry, red, peeling patches (and also irritation to my eyes) that I’ve tossed hundreds of dollars worth of makeup, moisturizers, etc., throughout the years. My dermatologist has prescribed several creams and ointments over the years, some that help and some that don’t, most are expensive, and some that my insurance won’t even cover. So as I was considering the Glow Up! Vitamin C serum just as a brightener and softener for my aging skin, I asked Rufus if it was appropriate for very sensitive skin. He told me yes and that the ferulic acid was actually calming and healing for dermatitis flare ups. That alone helped me decide to give it a try. I have been so happy to find that with daily use, it has helped clear up and heal a rough red itchy place on my face just in front of my ear that I’ve been dealing with for about 5 years! Multiple prescriptions and the dermatologist freezing it 3 times have not helped. It just kept returning. But using this serum has been the best thing for my recurrent dermatitis that I’ve ever found. Plus after several weeks of use, I have seen a couple of age spots become less noticeable and it gives my skin that nice moisturized, glowy feel and look. I also use this brand’s hyaluronic acid and it works very well too. Both the hyaluronic acid and vitamin C serums are a tiny bit sticky feeling after application but that goes away after complete drying in just a couple of minutes. With these results and at this price point for the Glow Up! Vitamin C serum, I’ve finally found something that I can confidently use forever!

Soy chica hablo de otra cuenta. Me ha llegado a tiempo. Es primera vez que uso retinol, quería saber si es tan cierto los cambios favorables que deja en la piel. Es el tercer día de su uso me gusta la sensación que deja. Lo he probado también con mi madre que es más mayor., trabaje con masajes otra crema con retinol y me ha gustado mucho el resultado de ambos complementados. Note un leve aclarado en manchitas y las arrugas también se notaba un poquito. Debo decir que también se nota si lo dejas de usar. Tienes usarlo constantemente por las noches y al día siguiente protección solar. Se ve mejora leve con un buen masaje mi piel es joven pero aún así note sensación de tirantes como si te estira la piel. Me gusta de mimento a ver si sigue mejorando que hace rato buscaba resultados favorables. Gracias!

My new must have product.This serum does not leave your skin oily,it make the skin look better instantly and it definitely works. After few days using it I can see my skin looking more radiant.I have normal skin and I’m 39 year old. I bought it because I wanted to try something with niacimide after reading some recommendations on Pinterest.
