Great value, good quality!
Love this set. I’ll be honest it was the cheapest 550Lb set on amazon. If you catch it on sale, it really is unbeatable. Aside from the value, the quality is there. The stand was easy to assemble and sturdy. No bending after several months. The weights feel good and are balanced. I’m not sure what else you could ask for in a dumbbell set. There is definitely a smell when you first get them, that lasts quite a while. But I think that is pretty common with rubber products. I let them air out in the garage for a few weeks before bringing them in. I also washed them with dish soap a dried them to remove a slight oily residue, as directed by the manufacturer.

Great Home Gym Dumbell Set
I’ve been using this CAP dumbbell set with the 2-tier rack in my home gym and it’s been a great addition.The dumbbells feel solid, the grip is comfortable, and they stay in place without rolling around.The standout feature for me is the 2-tier rack, it looks much cleaner than the typical 3-tier racks and fits perfectly in my space.As other reviews have indicated they do come drenched in oil, but it was a quick process ti get them wipes down. I dont see this as a huge negative at all.Overall, great value for the price and perfect for anyone building a home gym setup.

Updating my review to 5 stars because CAP earned it.I purchased a full dumbbell set, and the 70 lb dumbbell took over a month to get delivered. CAP was the company that actually helped resolve the issue. Their team responded to my email in less than 24 hours, communicated clearly, helped locate the package, and followed through until it was delivered. They were professional, responsive, and very helpful throughout the process.The delay was frustrating, but it was not CAP’s fault. The dumbbell set is high quality, solid, and worth the purchase.Amazon customer support was the opposite. They were not willing to help whatsoever. I spent over an hour going back and forth in chat, got transferred around about 15 times, and was even disconnected when I did not respond fast enough. Nothing meaningful was done on Amazon’s side, so I had to step in and contact CAP directly to get real help.CAP solved the problem when Amazon would not. Great product, great materials, and excellent customer support from CAP.

Great value, high quality feel and look, very sturdy stand, shipping didn’t all arrive together
This is a terrific dumbbell set and my family is enjoying it immensely. The shipping boxes looked pretty bad on some of the weights but after getting them all out and cleaning the dust off of a few, everything is great! The stand didn’t arrive at the same time the weights did so I was worried it was missing but thankfully it arrived the next day, again, in a fairly beat up box yet the stand was unharmed. The stand is very sturdy, the weights feel good (I got the chrome grips as I didn’t feel the need for the coated grips and my gut was correct, they’re plenty comfortable) I think this is a great value for 550 lbs of weights and a rack to store them on.

Nice rack and good selection of dumbbells. Bad odor and black color transfer to hands
I just received today. The packages were very beat up but all the dumbbells look good. I haven’t had time to open and assemble the rack yet. But I had to come here and comment on the awful chemical odor these weights emit. I have them airing out in my garage right now. The dumbbells also have some kind of coating that is transferring to everything, my hands, my clothes, the packaging. It looks like when you handle a fresh newspaper and the black comes off on your hands. I haven’t had a chance to wipe them all off yet, I hope whatever is on them will clean off and they won’t continue to rub off onto everything in my home gym. Update: after a week the smell is tolerable. I wiped each one off and set it up in my home gym. They do not seem to be transferring off the black color anymore (but I do have black flooring) but I would proceed with caution if you have light colored floors.

Great product – Great customer service
The set came and was great quality for the price. One of the 10lb dumbbells was loose and within the first 30 days the end came off. I reached out to customer support. They were friendly and sent me a replacement dumbbell in a short period of time!

Great Dumbbell set, don’t worry about slight smell it will go away!
I’m very happy with these dumbbells, I was worried about the smell from other reviews but honestly there is a little bit of odor but it will go away soon. My shipment arrived a couple days early and it seemed like an all the weights were there but I was missing one 60 pound dumbbell. I went to capbarbell.com and sent them an email because I was worried I was not going to get all of my weights. UPS was able to find the last dumbbell and send it a few days later. It’s a lot to ask UPS to send 1200 lbs of weights but they did it and they arrived in great condition. I prefer a little space in my rack so I kept a couple of smaller weights off of it since it would be tight with all the weights. I would definitely recommend this product for the money and quality. I did not have a problem with damage but I could see how others could from shipping weight, I would recommend checking each dumbbell and assembling weight stand upon arrival just to make sure you can get replacements if needed. Again any problems go to CAP website and send email, they will get back to you like they did with me. I hope this review helps your decision.

Quality and value
Never received my My whole order also the quality was pretty trash on them and the stand itself look like The ups man went through a war zone before he got here It was literally holding on by a single piece of clear tape and missing several parts then get any help on this order or anything pretty disappointed but maybe that’s not going to be your experience but it was mine and that’s why I’m here to write about it still it is a good value and a good price and they are quality maybe I received a bad order and you know it’s pretty hard to return heavy items like this it’s important that they get it right and check for quality and make sure that the packages are very well secured but oh well
