The heat and vibration provide excellent relaxation.
I really like this heating pad. It has helped my daughter a lot during her period cramps. When she uses it on her lower abdomen, the pain reduces quickly and her muscles feel more relaxed. I also love that it is portable and rechargeable, which makes it very convenient to use anywhere. Overall, we are very satisfied with it.

High Heat is Hot!
My lower back has been giving me trouble lately and while this is marketed for period cramps, there is no reason why massage and heat with this device wouldn’t be beneficial as well.I appreciate that the USB-C charging port has an attached silicone cover to avoid issues with moisture getting into the electronic components. The instruction manual is pretty brief – about the size of a note card – and covers the two vibration modes (high and low) and the three heat settings (low, medium, and high). The instructions warns the user to wear the device over thin clothes due to the temperature. And for once, I found this warning to be accurate. It gets really hot on high, to the point where I had to change the setting back to low.After 15-25 minutes of using low heat and high vibration, my lower back actually felt pretty good and I was able to gently move around and get some cracks and pops. I’m back to uncomfortable today and will be happily utilizing this heating pad shortly while I wash dishes.The band for the device is quite adjustable. I had no problem using it for my 28″ waist and it also fit another person’s 34″ waist.The only downside is that the heating pad really looks cheap due to the plastic exterior. I’m not sure if it would be feasible to put fabric around the exterior or simply improve the quality and finish of plastic being used. I’m hoping that it will continue to function well and I look forward to using it on LOW heat for my back.

Finally, Relief I Can Wear Around
So I have used regular heating pads before and while they do help, being stuck near an outlet is a pain when all you want to do is go about your day and not think about cramps every five minutes. This solves that problem beautifully. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I am genuinely impressed with how well it works.The heat gets nice and warm pretty quickly, and on the higher setting it gets hot enough that I would definitely recommend wearing it over light clothing like the instructions suggest. I actually appreciate that it puts out real heat instead of that barely-there warmth some portable devices give you. It feels very soothing and the warmth is concentrated right where I want it.I wasn’t sure how much I would care about the vibration feature, but it is actually a nice extra. I still mainly use this for the heat, though it is nice having different modes to play around with depending on how uncomfortable I am. The controls are simple enough that I didn’t have to keep looking at instructions every time I wanted to change something.The fit is comfortable and easy to adjust, and I like that I can wear it while moving around the house instead of having to sit still. The inside is soft against the body, and even though the unit itself has some structure to it, it still feels comfortable enough to wear for a session without being annoying. The auto shutoff is also a good feature, even if I sometimes wish it stayed on a little longer before needing to be turned back on.Battery life has been solid for me, especially if I’m mainly using the heat and not running every feature at once. That makes this a lot more practical than I expected. It is also fairly discreet under a looser shirt, which is nice.Overall, I think this is a really useful little device. It gives real relief, it is easy to use, and the cordless design makes a huge difference. I also think it is good value for what you get, especially if you deal with cramps regularly and want something more convenient than a traditional heating pad.

There is almost nothing bad to say about this device, so I’ll lead with that and then tell you the rest:1) I question how long it will hold up with frequent use so durability based on life of item I’m going to say is probably 4 stars ish, however, for the price, if I can use it frequently for a year, that’s a few dollars per month which is still 5 star value in my mind.2) This is not a negative, but I wish it were not this way: It shuts off automatically after 30 minutes. I know this is for safety and also to preserve battery life, but I would like it to go at least an hour, personally. None the less, you can’t dock any stars because the safety feature works, so it’s still 5 stars!Now all the good stuff:1) Battery life is really good with heat only mode. I know I am getting 4-5 hours per charge easily. I would think you get less time if you are using vibrate as well, but I do not.2) It definitely is warm…I thought it might not really “heat” being battery operated. WRONG! In fact, as others have noted, the high heat setting is HOT..good to use over a piece of clothing. NOT good to put the pad right against your skin…or at least proceed with caution.3) The soft part that goes against your body is truly soft. For something with a hard plastic shell, this is surprisingly comfortable to wear/use4) I don’t have anything to say about the vibration mode other than it is there. I don’t use it. I think it’s a pretty nifty feature though!5) Between my daughter and I this is seeing almost daily use and it just keeps on doing its thing. It really helps with muscle pain as well as monthly cramps. The straps hold it in place and the buttons are pretty simple to use to select the right degree and combination of heat/vibration for the occasion.In summary, I think this is a grand invention and I am glad that I decided to check it out. I don’t think we will ever be without one in the house from now on!
