Hey, it has an index.This would make a great dream journal.The cover is soft like pleather, but it’s cardboard.The gold and rose-pink synchronize well together.The pen is rose-gold and the ink comes out thick.The two things that I would change is the closing elastic band is kinda loose, but if you use it as a scrapbook and fill your pages with additional items you might like it.The second is the elastic that holds the pen is a pain in the butt to work with. It would be better as a solid loop rather than an elastic. It’s big, so you can’t just slide the pen in and be confident that it’ll stay, you have to wrangle the clip over the elastic, and you can’t just slip the clip over it, you have to take your finger(nail)s and pull the clip open to make space; but it does slide out pretty easy. Also, since there is a lot of elastic give it doesn’t hold the pen close to the book, it flops around and catches on things if you have your hands full.Overall though, it’s a pretty nice journal.
