This is my first nail drill and I’m extremely satisfied with it. I’ve done my first set of acrylic nails and have had NO issues. I love it!!

This wireless nail drill is a game changer. No plugging it in or worrying about an outlet. I use it on my nails as well as I change out the tip and use it on my dog’s nails. She loves it and thinks she’s just so pretty when I use it on her.

I got this expecting something basic and travel‑friendly, but after a few sessions, it ended up replacing my older, bulkier drill almost completely.What’s Included:• One Coslus C52 cordless nail drill unit in light gray• Multiple nail drill bits for shaping, smoothing, and cuticle work• A generous set of sanding bands• USB‑C charging cable• Small plastic container for storing bits• Built‑in rechargeable batteryGetting started with this drill is very straightforward. It arrived ready to use and already had some charge, which made it easy to test right away. Charging is done through USB‑C, so I used the included cable and plugged it into a standard USB outlet. It took only 1 hour to fully charge it, which is quite fast. The drill turns on by pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds, which prevents accidental activation when it is tossed in a bag or drawer.Changing bits is simple. You pull out the current bit and push in the new one, and it feels secure once seated. The controls are minimal, with one button for power and direction and another for cycling through the speed levels. The LED display lights up clearly and shows speed level, battery status, and rotation direction.The Performance:In use, this drill feels very controlled and easy to manage. It is lightweight and slim, which made a noticeable difference during longer nail sessions. I did not experience hand fatigue, and the drill felt stable rather than shaky. Vibration is minimal, even at higher speeds, and the noise level is low enough that I could comfortably use it while watching TV.The adjustable speed range up to 20,000 RPM which gives a lot of flexibility. Lower speeds worked well for cuticles and natural nails, while mid to higher speeds handled gel removal and shaping without stalling. The forward and reverse rotation made it comfortable to use on both hands, and switching direction was instant.Battery life has been solid. I was able to do several full manicures, about 3 hours on a single charge, and the drill did not lose power suddenly or slow down near the end. This cordless nail drill offering from COSLUS was my first time trying a product from them. So I was excited to see what this small and simply designed cordless had to offer.I really liked the smaller size and light weight of the drill. The clean lines of it were initially a positive, but then I set up to use it and discovered a few drawbacks. It came with a selection of bits providing me with the variety needed for most in-home manicures/pedicures. A number of sanding bands rounded out the accessories.Starting with a bit of work to a previous nail repair and some sidewall work, I tested this out on a low speed. The functions were easy to use and to change with the reverse/forward options coming in handy. While I never did need to use this drill at a high speed, knowing there was the 9 speeds made other more labour intensive uses an option. It operated smoothly and quietly and the bit I used was effective.I’m not a fan of the push pressure fit for the bits, though this one wasn’t the stiffest I’ve used but i find does carry the need for force and if the drill is being used by a home enthusiast like myself, sometimes the need to change out a bit comes at a deIicate or inopportune time in the process with the potential for damage to the manicure. Another dislike was, while I like the shape, size and weight of the drill in the hand, I wasn’t a total fan of the hard plastic finish everywhere. I would have liked to have seen a textured finish or a non slip material (or both combined) down near the tip where the drill narrowed. As is, I found my hand sliding or needing to grip harder than I normally might for some maneuvers. My last wish was for the charging end to be a flat surface. This way the drill could stand between uses rather than be laid down. Or a stand could be provided. Either way, needing to pick this up from laying down is not something someone with long nails (longer than my current) generally wants to be doing, as again, it risks damage to the nails/manicure.Other than these details, I found this nail drill a good choice for the beginner or a home enthuse who wants to try out a nail drill. Functionally, this worked well and offered everything needed.
